“Flatten out the Curve” Song & Video

“Flatten out the Curve “is Mark Perry’s response during the world Covid-19 crisis in March, 2020.
What started out as a quirky little home video took on a life of its own and, after 20,000+ Facebook views, he recorded and released it as single.

Perry’s vocal and guitar tracks were recorded by Colin Maskell at “Old Highway Studios” in Smithers, BC, Canada and sent to the talented, Jordy Walker at “Stackwall Sound Productions” in Whitehorse Yukon where Walker added drums, bass and accordion and engineered the final mix.

Fans from around the globe sent in videos of themselves dancing to the song and Perry’s daughter (Mip) put together this fun video to go along with the final recording. Perry hosted a few LIVE watch parties with followers over the internet which went slightly viral with about 30,000 views and 1,000 shares in the first 72 hours.

The entire project, including the recording, adhered to all the self-distancing protocols in place at the time, while Perry’s province was undergoing a level of “lockdown” and a government-ordered state of emergency in order to get a handle on the virus.
