AS ALWAYS, 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO TO THE GREATER VANCOUVER FOOD BANK
Let’s face it this year has been a dumpster fire on all fronts but you know what. YOU CAN’T KILL KEITHMAS. It’s going to be a virtual party this year but it’s still going to be a party because not only does Keith Richards turns 77 on Dec 18, but Keithmas turns 11. If he can keep going dammit so can we.
For 10 years the people of Vancouver have had a great time celebrating Keef, Christmas and the music of the Rolling Stones while raising over $80,000 for the Greater Vancouver Foodbank. So please join us again this year on the first (and hopefully the last) livestream Keithmas and keep this uniquely Vancouver tradition alive.
As Keef said talk is cheap but it’s true you can’t kill Keithmas even though 2020 is giving it their best shot. With that in mind we have had to make some changes to the previously announced lineup. Unfortunately Keithmas stalwarts Rich Hope and La Chinga have had to bow out but we have some incredible additions to announce who are going to kick ass! Platinum recording artist Big Sugar, cancon legends The Odds and Joe Keithley aka punk legend DOAJoe are more than filling in! And Vancouver’s own Rock and Roll Circus are also new to this year’s show. As before also performing will be The Wild North and joining Keithmas for the first time Phono Pony and Rempel and The Rousers ((featuring members of Tranzmitors, Mandates and The Ballantynes). And once again hosted by CBC Radio personality Lisa Christiansen and special guest this year Vancouver best-selling author and raconteur Aaron Chapman will be doing a special presentation on the Rickshaw as well as some Keef/Stones Vancouver anecdotes!
