Kristin Witko’s Kings & Queens of Karaoke

In quarantine, there are few things art-pop performance artist Kristin WItko misses more than “the simple dumb triumph of rocking a karaoke bar hard with friends.” So for her IG Live even, Kings and Queens of Karaoke, she’s going to try to channel that energy all alone. By singing along to (licensed) karaoke tracks (including her own) on Instagram Live, she’ll create a space to feel her feels around that complex state of “being alone, together” that we’re all in. Like with any karaoke night, things will get loose, they’ll get weird, they’ll get silly, and they’ll get unrepentantly triumphant.
