Shred Kelly Breakfast Cocktail Party Concert
May 9, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT
$7.00
For seven weeks we have been streaming live on Facebook every Saturday night and having a cocktail party. With the weather getting nicer in the evenings, and with our international fans in mind, we’re bringing it to you in the morning for a special mimosa edition.
This one is extra special because it will be our last cocktail party for a while and our first interactive one. We’ve missed seeing you all in person so much. At live shows we feed off of your energy and your smiles – so we’re pretty excited to be able to see you singing or grinning on the screen.
This event will feature each band member from their homes, playing some of the songs you love the most. Please send us some song requests in advance, and we’ll add a few to the list.
We can’t wait to sing, clap, smile, drink mimosas and coffees and baileys with you (or if you’re in a later timezone, you can have a more sophisticated cocktail or your favourite beer. (Jever anyone?)
All ages welcome.
Guest list spots available if you’d like to attend but don’t have the extra money to do so at the moment. We understand. E-mail us at info@shredkelly.com for a guest list spot – we’d love to see you there.
You can also purchase a ticket for a friend or loved one and share the experience together!
Shred Kelly is a five piece, alternative folk rock band that emerged from the heart of the Canadian Rockies in 2009. Over the past decade the band have taken their highly energetic live show from humble beginnings on the Canadian ski-town circuit to the international stage.
“Their shows are joyous celebrations of life that will only reaffirm most of the things you love about music.” (Rice and Bread Magazine)
The bands striking and energy-packed sound has evolved from their eclectic musical influences and their unique experiences and individual backgrounds. Their progressive pairing of acoustic instrumentation with electric counterparts, harmonies, and driving rhythm, continues to develop and reach new heights.
Their latest album ‘Like A Rising Sun’ (June 19, 2020), produced by Nygel Asselin and mixed by Ben Kaplan, is the group’s fifth offering and their most raw autobiography. This album is an honest reflection of band members personal experiences of starting a family, losing a loved one, and coming out on the other side forever changed. With such upheaval comes an outpouring of explosive, fast-paced, and anthemic folk rock.
Over the years, Shred Kelly has had the opportunity to perform across Canada and internationally at festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival, Australian Music Week, Folk Alliance, SXSW, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest, Mariposa Folk Festival, SKOOKUM Festival, Wapiti, and Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival.
