Created by Dahvi Waller (Mad Men), FX on Hulu’s Mrs. America is a star-studded mini-series centred on the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment and the unexpected backlash led by conservative Phyllis Schlafly (Cate Blanchett), aka “the sweetheart of the silent majority.” Waller will chat about the meticulously researched series; making the show inclusive, both on-screen and off; casting and working with such a stellar group of actors; and the central characters’ complex storylines.

Biography
An Emmy and WGA Award-winning TV writer and producer, Dahvi Waller is the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the limited series Mrs. America on FX, starring Cate Blanchett, which debuted April 15th on FX on Hulu to critical acclaim. Waller previously served as a writer and producer for AMC’s critically acclaimed Mad Men, and most recently was a writer and co-executive producer on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire. Past television credits include the ABC series Desperate Housewives and Eli Stone. Waller taught TV writing at USC’s film school for their MFA program.

She hails from Montreal, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
