Friday night is singer/songwriter Matt Stern with an intimate solo set, performing an all-request livestream. Matt Stern is known for infectious melodies, uplifting energy, and an ability to inspire a sense of community in a diverse crowd. Published for Precious and Sacred, a book dedicated to Indigenous children, and featured twice on Queerty.com, Matt performs in Japanese, French, English and Spanish and has been featured in Exclaim!, Italy’s Periodico Daily and on Let’s Go There (Channel Q) in Los Angeles. His new album, Take It or Leave It, was released in January 2020 on all platforms and its first music video, Full Moon, was screened at the Victoria Film Festival in February. That same week, the first single Don’t Tell Me was syndicated on CBC and picked up by shows across the country while French singles Dans mes rêves and Droit devant were broadcast on Radio-Canada. A recent feature in Addicted Magazine characterized Matt’s new album as “beautiful music that makes you feel seen and safe.”

Karen Fowlie is an award-winning singer-songwriter with deep musical roots in her community. Influenced by musical greats (Heart, Sarah McLachlan, Emmylou Harris, Jann Arden, Joni Mitchell, Chantal Kreviazuk, Carrie Underwood and more) Fowlie writes Alt. Country/Rock songs people can easily relate to. Karen has been recognized by B.C.’s Attorney General for her song writing and has also appeared as a special guest on a TV talk show. Fowlie and her band regularly entertain audiences and have released three singles in recent history.

Tyler Shaw Presents: Quarantunes Fest

JUNO nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist Tyler Shaw is joined by special guests on Instagram Live for a 1 hour special online concert event with special guests. Tyler will perform some of his hit songs including ‘Kiss Goodnight’, ‘House of Cards’ and the #1 pop song in Canada for 2019, ‘With You’. Tyler will entertain live questions from fans and followers throughout the live event as well as invite other Canadian guest artists to perform acoustic songs too.

WIFTV William F. White Live Coffee Chat with Fei Ren and Red Heartbreaker | IG Live

Born and raised in China, Fei Ren obtained her Psychology degree at UBC while working internationally as a model. Ren started her acting career in 2014 by training intensively in Vancouver and New York, and in a short time, has performed a diverse range of characters on TV, film, and stage.
She can be seen in various leading roles in TV series and films such as The Romeo Section (CBC), This Blows (CBC) (Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting performance), and movies such as Supergridand Fatal Visit. Most recently, she starred in Netflix’s feature film Polar opposite Katheryn Winnick, Vanessa Hudgens, and Mads Mikkelsen. In addition, she guest stared as an voice actress in Robot Chicken created by Seth Green. Ren made her stage debut as a leading woman in Duncan Macmillan’s Lungs, which reviews as top ten plays in Vancouver in 2019.
Ren’s directing credits include The Mirror Test at the Annex Orpheum Theatre as well as the dark feminist comedy Commencing.

Red Heartbreaker is a composer with over 32 film and television credits to her name, as well as vocalist and vocal coach.  She is also a director of the board for Women in film and Television Vancouver.
