This album brought me back to life in some ways. Somehow, after a couple of years of creative uncertainty, I ended up in the studio where Pet Sounds was recorded with much of the team that helped make Beck’s Sea Change.
I’ll be doing Q&A and discussing some history behind the songs and how they came to fruition. I’ll be sure to tell the story of getting robbed in Los Angeles just hours before Paul McCartney interrupted our studio session. “Oh, sorry”, he said.
I’m saving 30 guest-list spots for those who are not in a position to purchase a ticket but would like to be a part of this event – email email@example.com with the subject “Guestlist Sept 19” and let me know. No explanations necessary and no questions asked.
Hermann’s Jazz Club in Victoria BC is in its 40th year of operation. The Club is home to upwards of 400 live performances every year. Engaging audience is part of the livelihood of musicians.
