Arts Matter Online: Watercolour Demo by Ariane Kamps

From our friends in arts and culture. Visit Don’t Stop Here, find more events in British Columbia in the arts and culture industries.

Watch Ariane Kamps paint a Frontline Worker portrait with watercolours!

Ariane` Kamps is a painter and illustrator who works in traditional and digital mediums to create figurative works. Her work reflects a deep interest in memory and the value of the individuals story. Her work ranges from portraiture to surreal dreamlike landscapes that she creates out of her home studio in Penticton, British Columbia. When she isn’t painting she can be found teaching her 5 bright children, hiking the hills around Okanagan lake and trying to spot the elusive Ogopogo.

Ariane offers this free painting demo as part of the Penticton Arts Council’s Arts Matter Online program.
