UNO Fest is North America’s longest-running solo performance festival, and has always pushed the boundaries of what solo performance can be. This year, Intrepid Theatre brings UNO to your home with UNO Fest Online. Experience video clips and new work online, interviews with the artists, free streaming solo performances, and Facebook Happy Half-Hours with artists and artistic staff. We are embracing our festival tagline – this is theatre outside the lines!

Week 1 features local Victoria artists J McLaughlin, Isaiah Bell, and Lindsay Delaronde. Week 2 features national artists Kunji Mark Ikeda (Calgary), Sarah Waisvisz (Ottawa), and Tara Travis (Vancouver).

Chasing Steve World Premiere Launch Party + Q&A | Zoom

The Q&A discussion will include Filmmakers Leah Mallen and Jess Fraser, as well as an expert panel including Chris Ratzlaff, the founder of the Alberta Aurora Chasers group of citizen scientists, Dr. Eric Donovan, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary, and Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald who is the founder of the citizen science project Aurorasaurus, a science communicator, and a NASA scientist. The discussion Q&A will be hosted by SciStarter.org and moderated by Canadian host/performer Alexandra Staseson.
